The sweater is worked from the top down, start by working the back piece in rows. The left and right shoulders are worked separately before they are joined to form a front piece. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitches and finished with a ribbed edge. The sleeves are then worked with German short rows needles to form a rounded shoulder section at the start. Finally, the neck is worked, with a slit in the front. All ribbed edges are finished with 2 rounds of double stockinette stitches and Italian cast-off for the prettiest result.
The sizes are calculated based on a positive ease of approximately 25-30 cm, which you add to your own chest measurement. The pattern follows body measurements of: 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm.
Example: If your bust measures 93 cm, add 25 cm = 118 cm. This is equivalent to size S-M.
The model in the picture has a bust measurement of 83 cm (29 cm positive ease according to body measurement), and is wearing a size XS with a length of 53 cm.
